Double deck boathouses give owners more dock space due to the fact the area is built over and above the lower level does not count toward the square footage of the dock that Alabama Power guidelines allow. Sunrise Docks uses an interlocking decking on the upper floor system that all but eliminator water infiltration from above giving boats on the lower level added protection. If you don't prefer a second level roof we can gladly make the upper floor an attractive "sundeck." All Sunrise built docks having stairs incorporate our Titan non-skid stair treads.
